DINOSAUR POOP BRACELET
I just love working with very unusual material such as dinosaur bone and

Coprolites (fossilized dinosaur poop).  I made this sterling silver bracelet from two 100 year old spoon handles and a very nice piece of pyrite fossilized dinosaur poop.  It sold just a few minutes after I posted it. 

OUTLAW JOSEY WALES GUN BELT BUCKLE

One of my favorite customers sent me the gun belt buckle that Clint Eastwood wore in Outlaw Josey Wales to make a copy of it in silver, the original was brass. This was a labor of love to me because that movie is my all time favorite movie. I decided to make a couple of them in case some one else wanted one. So here it is fresh from the Walleringbear Studio. The Outlaw Josey Wells gun belt buckle. It contains just about 3 ounces of silver and is 3 x 3 inches.

TEXAS FLINT MONTELL TYPE ARROWHEAD KNIFE SPEAR POINT

The other day I was out arrowhead hunting and collecting flint when I found an ancient broken Texas point type called a Montell. It was very well made and I admired the artists handy work and skill. I took it home and laid it on my work bench in the studio. It laid there for a a couple of days while I studied it. Then I reached over and picked up a piece of flint and made this one using the ancient one on the right for inspiration. I'm keeping the broke one but you can buy my modern replication. It's 3 inches long and 1 3/4
inches wide. It's a screamer! Made from Texas Lavender flint.

It's our kilns!  Our kilns are set up to take the temperature in three different locations.  The first is the air temperature inside the kiln.  The next area is the out side surface area of the rock.  The last one is the very core of the material being heat treated.  Because we do this, we always get a slow steady even cook.  It's never to hot or never to cold any where in the kiln.  We give our material a longer dry time than most folks and this eliminates most interior flint checking.  We then hold if for longer at the target temperature so that is cooks even all the way through.  It takes us a week to heat treat a batch.

HAND CARVED WHITETAIL ANTLER ARROWHEAD KNIFE CHIEFTAIN

We named this knife the Chieftain because there is a noble chief carved on both sides of the whitetail antler handle. The blade is made from Oklahoma Keokuk flint. The handle and the blade are fitted and wrapped with deer rawhide just like in ancient times. There are 11 carved effigies on this piece with detail so awesome you think they are going to jump right off the handle. The knife measures 11 1/2 inches.
